NCS is our professional team playing in the highest league in Kenya. This is a community-based team that is geared at growing our players into men of character both on and off the field while making a positive impact in the community.

The NCS team is a key part of our vision to grow AIS Kenya's influence throughout the nation and continent. Professional Soccer Ministry’s (PSM) purpose is to train, equip, and send high-level Christian soccer players into the world to impact the soccer culture using their platform as professional athletes.

Players from all over Africa and the world will be brought to the Nairobi City Stars to receive instruction in how to use their soccer skills to change the teams and communities around them. NCS players also help to develop other of AIS Kenya projects with participation in grassroots ministry, coaching in the camps and clinics, leading assemblies, mentoring boys in the Academy, and being role models in the community at large.

These players receive a top-level professional soccer experience, including world-class coaching, top-of-the-line facilities, and in-depth discipleship geared specifically towards professional soccer players.

NCS mission

1) To provide the highest level of professional soccer in Kenya in a safe and welcoming environment. NCS will deliver high-quality, community-friendly entertainment to soccer fans in the Nairobi area and throughout all of Kenya.

tn_ncsteam2) To fight some of the biggest problems in Africa: poverty, AIDS/HIV, ethnic strife, and corruption. Across the planet, soccer instils a sense of joy and excitement in those who watch and play, even in the world’s largest and poorest cities. Nelson Mandela said, “Sport has the power to unify people in a way little else can. It breaks down racial barriers, it laughs in the face of all kinds of discrimination. Sport speaks to people in a language they can understand.” Through the sport of soccer, the Nairobi City Stars will bring joy and hope to the slums of Nairobi, raise awareness and provide education for the prevention of AIDS/HIV, and be a successful professional team founded on the principles of honesty and integrity. The team will offer soccer training, AIDS/HIV education, and provide a “helping-hand” to people throughout the city of Nairobi.
