Matthew Booth: Endorsement Letter

I was made aware of the work of Ambassadors in Sport when I attended the 2009 Match for a Day soccer event at Orlando Stadium. At the event I was able to take part in a coaching clinic for kids from various children’s homes in Soweto. I was impressed by the vision of AIS and their dedication to impacting young lives through football.

I believe there is incredible talent and spirit among our young people and that they simply need the right opportunities and encouragement. I am therefore proud to be the patron of the AIS Freestyle tournament which provides a platform for young people to express their creativity and flare for football. Beyond that, I am pleased to endorse the work of Ambassadors in Sport and wholeheartedly support their endeavours to impact and uplift our communities through the medium of football.
